Your Trainer, Mike McClement
Learn confidence from an expert. Mike’s a leading confidence coach in the UK and an international best-selling author. His book ‘Brilliant Self-Confidence’ is available worldwide in five languages.
His practical techniques have proved that, whatever your situation, confidence really is a skill you can learn and his trusted formula for building self-confidence has helped thousands of people worldwide. What gives Mike his unique edge is his ability to make confidence building manageable, even for people who see the challenge as pretty well impossible.

Only 6 People. That Means Personal, Focused Learning.
Like our face to face training, we guarantee there will only be 6 people on our remote confidence course. Mike can focus on your specific reasons for attending. You can ask questions and get answers from a confidence expert. Everyone attending the sessions will be struggling with confidence in some way. There’s no need to feel anxious or embarrassed. In fact, being with other people who want to tackle self-confidence is helpful in itself. By the end of the two sessions you will have a Personal Confidence Plan. You’ll feel more in control and your personal plan will act as a route marker on your journey to greater self-confidence.
A guide to our ‘Come Across With Confidence’ remote training sessions
This ‘Come Across With Confidence’ course is run live by video-link. You will be one of a small group attending (max.6 people in total) who haven’t met each other before. Mike McClement will be running the course. He’ll be able to get to know you and focus on your personal reasons for joining.
The course is run over two sessions, each three hours long. There will be a gap of one day between the two sessions to give you time to reflect and prepare for the next session. The workshop will cover themes common to the group as a whole but there will also be an opportunity to help individuals with specific challenges they are facing.
Here’s a guide showing the structure of the two sessions…
Session 1
Introduction to workshop and familiarisation with other attendees.
Understanding your natural style/personality and knowing if it’s hindering your self-confidence.
Learning how to adapt the way you come across to make a more confident impression.
Using body language, voice and facial expressions to engage people and have personal impact.
Dealing with challenging people or situations more confidently and assertively.
Contributing to work or social meetings confidently and getting people to listen to you.
Session 2
Considering and being aware of how confident you look and sound to others.
Dealing with distracting body language or verbal habits.
Discovering how peoples’ perceptions of you can differ to your own perception.
Making the very best first impression when you meet someone for the first time.
Overcoming self-doubt if someone questions your knowledge or ability.
Staying positive when you feel negative, demotivated or pessimistic.
Converting nerves or anxiety into positive traits that help rather than hinder you.
Mapping out a personal confidence action plan.
These topics are not exhaustive. Mike can focus on specifics if you have a particular challenge to address.

The sessions made a huge difference…
The two sessions have really made a huge difference – I was on a large Zoom call yesterday and I felt a lot more confident, which was very surprising. I was using your advice to listen and feed off the conversation, which really helped, combined with your words of encouragement.

Our Confidence Courses really make a difference
Initially I thought the course was a lot of money but I can honestly say it was money very well spent. It was an excellent course. Really insightful. I’m very pleased I came. It was extremely well run. Mike is a very inspiring person and I hope to apply what he told me to my life.
Tom Hickson, Private
It was very well run by Mike who was very warm, engaging and instructive. There was a lot of material which I found easy to absorb. Really liked the practical elements/focus of the course and how to actually apply all this in real life.
Katherine Woodrow, Butterfly Breeze
A very engaging course, Mike puts everyone at ease and is very good at applying lessons to our own experiences. I will definitely recommend this course to others in our work.
James Watt, Centre for Sustainable Energy
Today was great. I was quite nervous to begin with but my fears were quickly put at ease. Interactive from the start. Mike kept all of the group engaged. I can’t wait to put what I’ve learnt into practice.
